And will be stoked if everyone is back next year. And possibly two more years of big game stud Sneed? Yes, please.
-
As you should. There is no excuse for this team not being excellent next year.
-
Still no reason to not be the premier destination for the best 5 on the 5th year transfer market even though I’m not sure there even is a decent big for 18-19 in that situation.

Sure isn't.

Austin Trice should be more than adequate.
-
Sneed running down the court yelling "We here!" is one of my favorite oscar Weber era moments. What an awesome game against Kentucky. It is right to be excited about next year.

I admittedly don’t follow the recruiting as closely anymore but isn’t he going to Illinois?
-
Hurts now but hard not to be optimistic. eff this loss but proud of our guys.
-
This team made a huge leap from early Jan to late season on how we played on Defensive end. TO% didn't improve but everything else did including DR and FTR
Take that work ethic and make your entire game better from Big12 2018 season to 2019 Big12 season
-
This season's injuries bode well for 2018-19.

He has a list of six; us, Illinois, New Mexico, Washington State, OU, and USF. He said he'd set up his visit here after we were out of the tournament.

I thought he was saying "We guard!" Either way, I'm with you...great moment and very excited for this team next season.

I don't see a 6'7 guy making a huge difference at the 5
-
If Trice comes, could he play the stretch 4 and back up Dean?
Our 5 spot next year is full of blah
Mawein-Jr
Stockard-So
Love-So
Shadd-RFr
Sallah-Sr
Most think Sallah is gonzo, but still that would be 5 players for the 5 spot. And only Dean on the 4.
-
I'm leery of Trice. I've seen too many JUCO guys not pan out since Massey, the last one we landed the was a real impact player.
-
Play more Wade at the 5 next year
-
Can Dean play with his back to the basket and be effective their over the season? Pretty physical spot in our league.
Just a thought.

If they aren't there will be a TON made though

No, and we shouldn't try to do that. His established skill set is already really good. He can post up a bit, but he's a really good face the basket guy and should be played that way.

teams don't need back-to-the basket players to be effective

Oh for sure.

How tall do you think Mawien is? How tall do you think DJamer and Gip were? There are tons of D1 centers that are 6'6'-6'9".

The difference here is what Trice was for Wabash Valley and what he would be here. He's being recruited to provide rebounding, energy, and defense; all if that translates. He is not being asked to provide skill. His scouting report says he can't shoot and we won't need that anyway.

Sounds like Andre Gilbert

After a detailed frame by frame analysis, my team concludes he is clearly pronouncing a two syllable phrase, not threem, most likely being either "he hurr" or "we guard". Thanks for the advice, do the same.

Nah man, Andre Gilbert was more like a Walmart Xavier Sneed. Gilbert shot 70 3s in two college seasons.
-
Everybody's got to be the best at something.
-
we guard
Tbh, I thought "we guard" was pertinent since we were like 11-1 at that point. Maybe that's what made my crap lip reading skills come to light?
-
Who wouldn't like a team that's likely going to contend for B12 title and beat KU next season? :impatient:
That is a fictional team that would be very lovable
-
Fiction is about to be reality. Pinch yourself, you won't be dreaming.
