Jake and Denis aren't coming thru that tunnel, EMAWican. Sure it's great to be in the S16 but it's not like we beat the world to get there. It's been a pretty unremarkable feat to this point. Should we make the E8 I think more people will share your fervor.

I'm nervous/excited mainly because if we win it's the elite 8 baby! And I haven't seen Kentucky play at all but from what I have heard and read they are a saucy high school all star team that think call can send to the NBA.
Also guys it would be increds for me to say I would have went to school here when we made a run this year. Next year is gonna be even better so why not live for the now!

Two thoughts:
1. I'm not sure you could have a bigger disparity in reffing styles than we did between the UMBC (let 'em play) and UK (I think the breeze affected that shot) styles.
2. I had a sinking feeling the entire time vs. UK that we would lose until towards the end (when UK was up) I saw that graphic that said "biggest lead KSU: 12, UK: 1" and I was like, why the eff are these scrubs even still in the game?

The most nervous visible person was a squawk lady rooting vociferously against kentucky. Non-visibles were squawks and non-kentucky southerners messaging me their pleas/congrats that I defeat/ed kentucky.
