1) UMBC - 45.0% of their shots are 3s.  It was 49% in OOC games, 41% in their 19 Conference games. Then 50% of shots last night were 3s.

2) FT - Lyles & Maura are good, 195-237 (82.3%). Everyone else 210-386 (54.4%)

3) Last 20 games, they only got 22.4% of their misses. Opposition got 27.8%

4) in their 28 point home loss to Vermont & 44 point loss to Albany, Lyles shot fine, but rest of the team was 27% eFG in 2 games combined.  Those are 2 of their 3 losses in past 15 games.

5) Lost at Arizona 103-78 in November. Lost at Maryland 66-45 in late December. Only 2 notable teams played before the Tourney

Lyles is pretty good. Barry is actually a pretty good comparo for how he plays.

they're kp 168, kstate fans.  you don't have to look at their stats or worry about which player plays like some other player.

True. Northern Kentucky earlier this year and then Vermont to get to the NCAAs were their only 2 wins over Top 100 kenpom teams in program history besides taking out Doc's Huskers in 2009. Beating Virginia was a complete anomaly. I suppose lightning could strike twice, but even against a simply top 40 kenpom team like us, a double digit loss after such a ridiculous tournament win is most likely.
