Obviously, ISU would have to win the tourney, and OSU would have to beat Kansas today and make some kind of a run in the 66.
-
Long shot, but looking at the bracket I do think it's possible.
-
We couldn't even win the big12/sec challenge gmafb with this nonsense smdh
-
I don't think so.

I don't think so.
Obviously this assumes ISU wins the Big 12 tourney. OSU theoretically could get 3 quality wins including over OU and KU. Baylor could beat WVU to solidify its tourney bid. The only question is whether a UT loss to ISU would push them off the bubble. I think it likely would, but the field could help UT out on that one.
Of course the odds are very low, but do you really think there isn't a path for it to happen?

8 is the max

Yes. I think ISU would likely knock someone else out. Too many flaws in resumes.

If OSU or ISU won the tourny, and the lower teams got wins over the higher seeds, I could see 9. But that's just not going to happen.
-
you'd be depending on isu, so there's your answer.
-
I'm guessing ISU loses Wednesday. They were a very noncompetitive team at the end of the year. One of their guys said something about other guys not being bought in after their loss on Friday night.

It shouldn't, if you take the committee on their word that they don't consider conference affiliation when looking at resumes.

I hope we get 8 in. It's pretty incredible that 9 of the 10 are in contention. I would say right now these 8 teams are in battle for the Dayton games. Texas got that big win they needed on Saturday. They now have 5 Q1 wins, no bad losses and a SOS in Top 25. I have them in with an 11 seed.
