i've been critical of tcu, but i was impressed tonight. thought they did a great job of attacking the kstate ball handler on those top of the key screens. nice offensive game plan too, first team i can recall in a while that really made kstate pay for playing the pass so aggresively. hard to say that did a great job against wade, as he was pretty dominant, but i thought it was a good move not to d him with brod, which iirc, they've tried in previous games with poor results. when they had williams on him in the 2nd, it did seem to bother wade more than most defenders do.
if they hadn't shot so poorly, it would have been a pretty comfortable win. and i don't think kstate played poorly, overall.

I agree, K-State was fine without the abysmal last 6 minutes. Doubling Wade late didn't stop him from scoring but it certainly had to aid in his obvious late game fatigue.

I thought they did a good job of not getting called for egregious fouls.
-
tcu player really good down low defense, it doesnt help that we are so completely inept around the rim with our bigs but they forced some bad shots. I hate our bigs so very very much. just a solid player with decent footwork and this team is probably at 23 wins right now
-
Is it too late (or early) for Stokes to go to the NBA? Like right now.
For whatever reason, this team just works better with Stokes on the bench.
-
Stokes plays 26 minutes, doesn't do a damn thing, but still doesn't have a problem dribbling around and then throwing up a three or a fade away 17 footer. It's amazing to watch really. Sadly, his draft status probably is going down.
-
lol at stokes being anywhere near a nba draft radar. dude wont make the d league

Give him a little credit, Orris just made a team. This is by far his worst stretch of bball since being a cat. He has not transitioned well since the injury.

And now Diarra is playing like crap.
I think you have to have one point guard. Having two point guards means you have no point guard. Mental.
-
guess it was not obvious i was joking about stokes draft status
-
Stokes, Diarra, and Sneed all struggled on offense. Mak was bad, but he was still better than all three.
Going in TCU was the worst shot blocking team in the league, but we still let them block 13% of our 2s. And then when they didn't, we'd miss a layup. Maddening.

It's obvious. He's also not as bad as ppl are suggesting tho.

dont forget about wainright he was rough ridin' god awful on defense
-
diarra isn't a pg, he's a wing. if we have a pg (we don't), it's brown.
-
point guards, how far have you went in the tournament without one

oscar isn’t really a 1/5 guy. if it were up to him (and it’s not), he’d run 4 2/3’s and a 4 who played like a 3
