Will be interesting to see if Shaka actually tries to use their length or will just let his bad shooting team continue to shoot 3s.
Last time they started Sims and posted him early against Sneed with success, but then went away from it.
I think the Cats get another home win, 72-65.
Snow in the forecast for Texas always reminds me of when Phineas Atchison took down TJ Ford and co. in a blizzard. Good time.

I am confounded by the struggle that Texas Basketball has to find success.
Especially considering the success Barnes is having at Tennessee

Texas was spoiled with Barnes. I think his success at Tennessee so far is not really different than it was at UT. Fans just started expecting more and more.

First game, we were worse than normal on the boards (44% to 23%). We only tried 5 FTs. We were able to shoot great from 2pt (62%), and we played good D the last 3/4 of the game (44 pts final 54 Possessions)
Our D has been solid at home for a while. If you include the OU, Tcu, GA, Ku, Tech, and Isu games we are allowing about 1.00 PPP i believe. The OkSt at home, we had them at 0.98 thru 38 minutes....then up 74-62 we played very lazy to end the game.

Sneaky big game for KSU, IMO. I think a win all but seals up some kind of tourney bid, and odds-wise it's probably the most likely win down the stretch.

Last time all of starters scored in double figures. I am not sure Shake knows how to defend against a balanced attack. We got no points from the bench though. I would like to see more growth in bench scoring. Stokes could be a difference maker.

I'm usually rooting for Texas, and I actually like that dude quite a lot. Tonight, I especially liked that he spent like 20 seconds of the final minute trying to make a basket under the rim.

KState was 6-28 on FGs that were 12 feet and out. 3-13 were 3s, but 3-15 on 2s.
We were 9-9 inside 12 feet in the 2nd half (12-20 total in 2nd half)
Texas was 9 for last 42 to end the game (started 7-14). Just 32 pts in final 45 Possessions
