I think because they make the schedules pretty well in advance and no one expected KSU to be tied for 2nd in the Big 12 at this point in the season.

Yeah, if you want to be on good TV then a) play good teams b) be a good team. A and B usually go together if you're a P5 squad.

2) Tech 17-5 run to end game. Win 70-63.
3)Clones barf. 45 pts in 63 Possessions.
Ou just 1.00 PPP. Trae subpar game. Under 50% on eFG, 17 pts
4) Solid win for Texas. Big game for Bamba
5) tough 66-65 loss for OSU. Carroll had layup attempt with about 6 seconds. There was some contact but he's gotta finish that.
6)) TCU pittyful Defense continues. Gave up 81 in 62 Poss to Vandy
7) WV blew 17 pt lead in 2nd half.

Big 12 is in good shape right now to get 7 teams in.
Team 6 & 7 in the " NCAA ranking" order when it comes to B12 teams were Kstate & Texas. Both won today.

The 6th rated team , Texas, is a 9 seed on average by "Bracket Matrix" concencus of projections.
Kstate is a 10 seed on average and come Monday, could be in a 1st place tie in the #1 rated conference.
As of now. 7 look good. It could end up being 6 in a month.
Getting an 8th team is a long shot. Baylor & Ok ST got lots of work to do.
