I'm bummed they're leaving, especially DJamer. He was a stud on the field.
Who on our current roster will be filling their roles? What about grad transfers?
-
AJ Parker should start at CB. Had some growing pains when he got playing time this year, but looked like he had the tools to be pretty good.
Receivers will be Zuber, Heath and Gruntley followed by Harris, Reuter and Render. Hopefully Chabastin Taylor sees the field as well.

Pringle is a very small loss. He had one good game in his career here.

He had some great catches, but also some very WTF drops when in critical situations. The Vandy game comes to mind.
-
Don't we still have Strickland? I just want a big body WR.
-
Losing DJamer sucks, but we still got a lot of guys coming back with experience, I will miss his big hits.

Nope

Does pringle have a legit shot at getting drafted? I find it hard to believe.

Probably not. But he's better than Taco Wallace, and he got drafted in the 7th.

I'd say undrafted free agent somewhere as a return guy.

i never played football (except being a complete long bone stud at chester e peters rec league flag football) but is there a big learning curve at the wr position? seems like these kids have been running the same routes since picking up the game. the learning curve to get playing time in the offense is just learning the "snyder way"?
-
learning how to block

i thought i read on the foundation that strickland left. i dunno. that receiving corps doesn't look too hot to me, but who knows who could emerge. taylor being allowed to play would be fun.

DJamer leaving basically cements my guy jiggity J Durham a spot as a starting CB in next years lineup. The payoff for my patience is finally here.

AJ Parker took some reps at CB this year as well. Not sure if Neil, Noil, Bowles, Stewart or McPherson factor into the CB role at all. Snyder and Co. went out and got juco CB's Patterson (again) and McGee. So, hopefully they can provide some competition immediately.
I wonder who will compete for Cre Moore's nickelback spot? Durham also stepped in and played some NB this year. If Adams and Goolsby are back, maybe Eli Walker moves into that role?

If there's one thing we've learned over the last 25 years, it's that kstate will in no way struggle to find another kickass returner or 2

probably, we still have Heath, but Reed is right up there with TLBL, Newman and Allen.

Chabastin Taylor: THE FUTURE
-
Losing Reed is going to hurt, but losing "the Gear Bear" will hurt the most. I'm pretty sure he is the main reason our LB core looked even serviceable this season. Trey will do ok but we need to land a stud D-lineman ASAP IMHO.

Agree.
