i think i'm a fan of this team now. carter has always been a favorite and i really liked #13 last night. i fell in love with him when he sprinted over to huggins and told him "___ can't guard ___", and then sprinted back onto the court, i think for a ft or something.
i wish i'd have been able to hear who couldn't guard who. i hope it wasn't the guy guarding him who couldn't guard him, but it probably was.

They are good and play so hard. Several guys also made some tough shots.

you don't like their style? what about it don't you like?
physical, pressing ball with good decision makers at the 1-2. i'd love it if we were lucky enough to have the talent and coaching able to replicate huggs' system.
i will agree that it's tough to watch a ill prepared team face what they do. like what they've done to oscar in the past. although last night had fewer facepalm moments.

They foul entirely too much it leads to games that are long and not at all fluid. They did have some skilled players but they also have some hatchet guys who's only purpose is to give five.

I agree and for the most part I thought the game yesterday was officiated well, that doesn't make it any easier to watch.

Teddy Allen is a rough ridin' stud that nobody on our team could stop. WVU is real good.

They are multifaceted and can adjust to the style of the team they are playing. Huggins told them not to shoot 3 ptrs, and take it to the rim. They did, and won.

Huggs' boys coupd be better this year than Ive seen the past 5 or so. Simply because they are shooting so much better from the line. They aren't going to be the "Press Virginia" that has gotten so much national attention as of late because they just don't have the talent they have recently. But as others have stated, they can adapt and do what needs done to keep them in a game when pressing isn't giving them a 10pt cushion.
They are still WVU, though. So just wait until they inevitably lose 2-3 games they have no earthly business losing and shoot themsepves in the foot.
I'll enjoy this ride until it falls off the rails.
