As a team they don't rebound well or pressure the ball/force turnovers. 2 things that match up well with Bruceketball.

I've had this game on the television almost the whole time. I forgot I was supposed to be watching it for about 5 minutes when it went from espnews to espn2 and I didn't change the channel.

Am I the only one who thinks The Flush Jr. is terrible when it comes to leadership? It blows my mind the lack of leadership in this effing squad... If Sneed stays cold in games State lacks the killer instinct to pull off victories

Brown, aka The Flush, took everything on his back in the last 3.5, and shoved it up their Wazoo. Stokes made some moron moves. WASU was way better than I thought.

Brown indeed took over....and it was actually the last 7 minutes. Kstate's last 19 points were 6 FGs inside of 4 feet & 7-8 on FTs. Barry had 12 of the 19
2) Skaggs kept them in the game. The other Wazzu players were just 36.5 on eFG and got under 25.0% on ORs.
3) 2 of our big 4 players were basically non existint or bad. 2 FGs thru 33 minutes for Dean/Sneed. Still pulled out a W vs P6 team on road
4) 21-36 2pt. 4-24 3pt. Can't be attempting 40% of shots from 3 pt when you are making 58% & 17% respectively.

Disagree. We have to win ugly cause we don't have a super-duper. Different guys are doing well each game.
Positives: Mawien was Mantool tonight - this is huge. The bench is providing good stuff especially Wainright and Patrick.
Negatives Catier kind of disappointing. Sallah.

I think the biggest take away from this game was the play of Mawein. Short of that silly 3 point attempt he played really well.

The first half offense was a lot of fun - fast paced, moving the ball well, looking inside and attempts from 3 in rhythm.
The second half offense was a disaster until the end. Much slower paced, little motion, just moving the ball around the outside until tossing up a 3 or a long 2.

I decided to watch a majority of a game for the first time this season. No need to make that mistake again. Go Cats but that was not a good viewing experience.

Wade was effective late, less so rest of the game. I hope Wazzoo is comparable to lower echelon Big 12 teams, if so, we can actually compete for middle of the conference type team.

Idk he seemed pretty lovable to me. The kind of guy who perpetually gets friend-zoned.
I was more mad at our guys not figuring out until the last 10 minutes or so that we should just be blanketing him even if it keeps one less guy from crashing inside.

i watched most of the first half. WSU is garbage. I lol'd this morning when i heard we had to come back to win this one.

First half we looked like an upper half Big 12 finisher.
Second half we looked lost on offense and our answer was throwing up bricks.
Skaggs got hot and kept WSU in it, but if we want to punch above our weight and surprise teams we are going to have to do better than 20% beyond the arc (which we didn't do against last 2 quality opponents).

Yeah, the final 3 minutes of the 1st and the first 13 minutes of the 2nd were not pretty. We only scored points on 6 of 23 Possessions (13 Pts). Really bad when you score 1 of every 4 Possessions for that long.

oscar teams have done this a lot over the last 3-4 seasons. Probably my biggest frustration with Bruceketball.

IDK, the PAC is loades with dog crap teams. OSU, UW, Stan, CU, Cal, its gonna be a dog fight

Ever since Haystack Huggie left to go home to grandma's squirrel pie, I got a bur in my shorts about him. I like him, but want to whoop welts on his old fat ass. What I like is he makes his players play disciplined. You earn any victory against his teams. If you are afraid of the rascals from Fat Mountain West Virginia, then you will be beat. Our guys are veterans, they won't be skreeded. If our bench contributes, poor ol Haystack leaves KS with just fond memories.
