I've started a fun new game using Facebook and I'd like to see if any of you want to join me.
Whenever I see someone post something that looks a little suspicious, I go online and do some fact checking. If I can find some actual facts that refute the post, I will make a comment letting them know that what they have posted is fake, along with a link.
Then, if they delete it I get 1 point. So far I have gotten 4 points.
Anyone want to play?

I usually just unfollow those people so I am not a witness to their stupidity. My sister in law is a prime example.

Only 2 of my points came from Coffeyville (actually 2 points on the same person).

I have considered that many times, but my hope is that maybe I influence their opinions just a tiny bit. Also, I value other opinions and don't want to find myself in an echo chamber via Facebook.

This is only for actual verifiable events; not conspiracy theories. Like, I can fact check whether that picture of Joe Biden groping a woman is real or photoshopped. I am not talking about giving people a bunch of climate change evidence to try to convince them it is real.

Just so you know I am non-partisan; I did call out someone who posted that fake Donald trump quote about being an atheist. The poster apologized but didn't delete it so I didn't get a point. :(
