Can Adams play WR? Best catch of the day. Zuber, Harris, Pringle, Heath and Barnes with drops. Ertz was partially at fault on Zuber but Zuber didn't break hard on his route like he should and this made all the difference. Also, Ertz has never been physical at running but he looked a scared 8th Grader out there. Completely scared of contact. I am guessing he is injured and playing through it.
Pringle has become a joke at WR! Just sticks out a hand on one.
Take the win. We are lucky! We did nothing after our opening drive.
Cannot cover and our DE's are not getting a pass rush. Tanking is a joke in the passing game.
Anyway, we won! On to Texas.

I didn't think Duke played anywhere above an average to slightly above average FBS D back. He had a couple good plays for sure but had a few bad angles and missed tackles. He was not a difference maker today. In terms of defense, as much as it pains me to say it, I thought Tanking played better than Duke did today. Best player on the defense in my opinion was Geary. I have no idea what the coaches see in Kirby and would love to know why Sullivan isn't on the field more.

He blew a few big plays, but Adams is probably my fav on defense just because he is generally a part of big plays.

I mean, we weren't great, but we won fairly easy. Defense gave up 2 plays. Offense was okay, won the turnover battle, dominated field position. Plus, I don't believe Baylor is KU bad. Not great, but they'll win some Big 12 games.

Baylor will get better, but we looked like we didn't improve at all after Vandy + bye, and given their recent games I'd put them at the level of an ISU in the Big 12.

This. If Baylor doesn't just blow those two snaps this game is in doubt. We were dominated in the second half. The offensive play calling is bad, Ertz looks like he's reading a rough ridin' atlas going through his progressions, the receivers won't catch, and we had way too many penalties. ( DJamer Reed was a train wteck on ST).
You can lie to yourself, but this team appears to be regressing on offense.

LHC Bill Snyder video was played talking about class and respect etc. I didn't pay much attention. I assume it was a thing about the eff KU chants.

First half - Baylor only 80 yds on 26 plays.
2nd half - The 2 disappointing long TDs (70,74) The 29 yd loss on bad snap. Then 42 other plays 180 yds
Very happy with D outside of 2 big plays. Big stand after our TO(missed FG). Forced 2 other FG tries. Int late in game in RedZone

Agreed. While I agree with the sentiment, the students need to come up with a better and more creative way of putting down our rivals. And they need to use it during the actual KU game. "Eff KU" during Baylor pregame is middle school crap.

If you're going to chant eff KU at least save it for when the Squawks are in town. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense.
Also, on the note of being small-timey & obsessed with KU I don't understand why Dr. Tracz thought it was a good idea to have the Starship Enterprise pulverizing a Jayhawk during the halftime of that Non-Conference game. Especially when Bishop, Nelson, Scott, & Sproles were back in town & being placed in the Ring of Honor.
