This goes a few different ways for me.
At the game/tailgaiting: Coors Light/Natty and Jack Daniels/Crown
At a bar/house watching the game: Coors Light/Natty and RBV.
I often get asked, "cas4ksu, you are an adult now, why do you still drink natty."
Answer is simple. Because it is a great beer to drink 15+ of.

super cold games I like to take airplane shooters with me into the game. otherwise beer and whatever hard alcohol they mix up at the tailgate

if looking to get quick pak'd a nice selection of IPA's really enjoying Roughtail's stuff right now
if looking at a long day of pak'ing i opt for a bevy of Busch Lights with a sprinkling of cocktails to moderate the buzz

I drink mimosas/champagne for most games. Mix in 80 Acre/Raspberry Jam/8 bit/Coors Original/High Life for some longer tailgates

I'm usually a whiskey drinker at home, but if I'm out or at a tailgate then I'm not picky as long as it's alcohol. That sounds really bad when I read it back, but oh well.

The Mimosa is hard to beat if it's an 11:00a.m. game unless I have a hang-over and then I go with bloody mary. All other games that aren't at 11:00, I line up six buttery nipple shots :excited: (ftp://:excited:)and go to town. If it's a home game and I'm watching from home I like to make myself a Manhattan or two.

Bourbon, especially an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
Beer, Coors or KC Pils types on warmer days, Fat Tire or an Amber on cooler days. Maybe a heavier beer (especially bourbon/whiskey barrel varieties) like Bourbon Barrel Quad once in a while, but those have some kick.

I have a temperature based beverage strategy similar to _FAN's although not nearly as classy. Early season games when it's warmer I tend to go for the thin watery beers like Natty Lite/Busch Light. When the temp starts dropping I'll change my drink lineup accordingly to heavier stuff like a nice IPA or mixed drinks with bourbon.
Fireball is appropriate for all seasons BTW!

I tend to revert back to my tailgate days when I watch Cats football and find myself taking much bigger gulps of whatever it is I'm drinking. I can nurse a beer for half an hour any other time, but can put a 12 pack away in a half during a game. If I drank liquor while watching a game, I'd be blackout drunk and not worth a damn for any post game celebrations!

I agree wholeheartedly with FAN but I am by no means a beer snob. Helll I found Hamm's on sale for $13 a 30 pack so that's what's getting drank.

Today is Core IPA while enjoying some family convo in Bentonville.
