This gal makes $35,000 per year and buys 2,000 of kid supplies each year with her own loot. Sickening. I just read recently that SAT scores are significantly trending down. We soon we be facing a shortage of teachers. Then you hear of dumb crap state and federal government spend loot on. Like Kobach voting study or etc... No wonder the herd is stupid. And liberal enders this means spending wisely.

Honestly that pic could end up doing way more for teacher pay than the $5k. It unintentionally captures a lot of the current state of affairs.

Agree that, removed from context, the image of people scrambling around for money is a little #latestagecapitalism, but like, so is a lot of the stupid stuff people do for $25 gift cards at minor league sports events.

Why would you remove the context? It isn't people getting crawling for singles to use at some strip club, it's money that's supposed to be used in the classroom?

it's an appalling spectacle. it's also not because the state doesn't have money to pay their teachers or to purchase supplies for the schools.
voters should find out what their state and local govts are doing with the absolute gobs of cash the federal govt gave them over the last couple years.
