It makes the Wes naysayers look bad, but the oscar naysayers look even better.

So it kind of depends on which naysayers you mean.

I think most Wes naysayers are probably just disappointed that oscar failed to get more out of him during his career. If he's an NBA player then he certainly should have had a better (more consistent) career at K-State. I think most everybody was excited about his potential when he got here.

Could be tough for oscar to maintain the success achieved this year after losing an nba player and an nfl player.

I'll always contend that Wes needed another star to play with. Foster would have been that guy.

Anyway, Wes is one of my top 5 favorite bball cats.

losing an NBA player is a great Bruscuse for next year.  It covers both that he had and recruited an NBA player plus he lost that talent.

He was 3rd team All-Big XII, let's not pretend like he's getting drafted on his college production. Scouts look at him and say, "Wow, lots of untapped potential there for a college senior." Which is not what you want to be hearing about your school's seniors.

Yeah, having an NBA draft pick that was a 3rd team all league player is not a positive for your program. It's an indictment.

I love Wes Westicles. If he makes an NBA roster I will eat my own liver in front of the entire audience of this message board.
