Title: It was a different time
Post by: sonofdaxjones on February 24, 2017, 08:36:46 AM
A time when a young, spry couple from Arkansas could enjoy 8 years in the White House, start a foundation that took in millions from horrible people all over the world.  A couple that would enjoy selling influence (and selling out US interests) across the globe as one was Secretary of State.   Also manage to wedge a carpet bagger stint as a Senator from New York in between.  A senator  who never met a war they didn't want, or a wall they didn't want to see built.

An easier, free flowing time when as POTUS and FLOTUS you could accept 100's of thousands of dollars in illegal campaign contributions from Chinese officials and Chines military leaders, and still have rioting and gnashing of teeth when they didn't win the White House again 20 years later.  (Even a few deaths involved for real intrigue)

Congrats to you Clinton's!  The most successfully corrupt politicians in US History.  You almost got the Oval Office twice and millions of Dems still love you!

I rarely dip over here, but it's good to see that dax is still obsessed with a person that was president twenty years ago.

A couple, and one was just a Senator, Secretary of State and was just nearly President.

A pub would never survive such corruption and yet, Dems meltdown by the millions and riot in the streets because they're not in the White House, again.

Weak Daris, weak!

65 million votes for the most corrupt political couple in history.

The quest for power overrides all else in the Democrat party.

Sad.

Stop delflecting libtards. The people you support are indefensible. We should all oppose this grotesque conduct.

Hopefully Dax has children and they put him in a nice nursing home, and not one with lots of raping going on.

Lol, all this talk about Trump and the Russians.  Flynn Transcript:  Nothing

Immigration: Powers given to the Executive branch and further enhanced by Dem sponsored and co-sponsored legislation and an actual track record of Dem president immigration bans.

Dems, voted 65 million strong and idolize the most corrupt political couple in US history, and marched in the streets, burned things and totally melted down when they weren't re-elected as president.

Sad

You really have your finger on the pulse of why people protested. Nothing about the empty suit you voted for.....All about the protesters team not winning. Just like they all protested when W won ...Remember that?

There was such distaste for the clintons that one lost to donald trump, in an election that most surmised almost anyone could defeat donald trump.  That's the L of L's.  Keep it moving.

65 million votes and a total meltdown and an unprecedented attempt to undermine the current administration.

Recount the votes!  We want the most corrupt political couple in US History in the White House!

Stories like these are worth noting because it is very concerning that such a horribly corrupt "couple" nearly returned to the White House and, in fact, won the popular vote. If you want better candidates, start with a more objective press that doesn't shill for the liberals while demonizing conservatives.

Liberals will argue that Trump is every bit as corrupt. Maybe he is, but again, backlash to media bias actually helped him win. If we want better candidates, we need an objective media people can trust. Not sure that can happen at this point.

quick thought

are the Clintons two of the most efficient political operatives on the planet?

is there ascension to wealth and power a story for the ages?

if half of what conservatives accuse the Clintons of is true it is pretty damn impressive even if you find reprehensible

Half?  What I discuss is in terms of campaign financing, congressional record, presidential record, illegal email servers and pay-to-play is 100% true.

Weird how the Clinton Foundation flounders, flails and is laying off people.  Nothing to peddle (for now) :(.

psst most democrats were uncomfortable with Clinton and it is the reason Donald won

many, including myself begrudgingly voted for her because of the alternative

Which is more responsible for the modern devolution of politics and media coverage thereof - the Clintons' disgusting antics during Bubba the First's reign, or explosion of the internet? Both happened at the same time so it's hard to pinpoint.

It sounds like most Dems should be relieved that the ultra corrupt Clinton's lost the election.

So, that's what makes the massive meltdown so weird.

Total meltdown about Trump and the Russians, yet the Russo-Canada-U.S. Uranium (front companies, middle men, the works) deal that the Clinton's helped put together (which according to so many on here was absolutely no big deal and frankly should be wholly expected of a SOS/Senator/Former President to be engaged in) netted the CF (and its sub charity shell game/money laundering operation) millions of dollars and the Clinton's themselves well into the six figures, and more likely, well into the seven figures.

I also recall back when the Clinton's were getting millions from the Chinese including the Chinese military, Bill handed a huge coal power deal to his Entergy buddies back in Little Rock and their tidy little deal withe Aleppo Group all the while wiping out mining of the cleanest coal found in the United States.

But no worries, the Dems fixed the primaries and went 65 million strong for the Clinton's in 2016.

Someone else's fault!  Leave the Clinton's alone!!  Please  :bawl:

Actually it was probably Bill's fault in the mid 90s, but yeah definitely reeks of a Clinton/Chinese conspiracy that causes Trump to live tweet Fox News on a daily basis
