Anybody heard anything about these two guys?
Xavier Davis: Juco defensive end who was supposed to be here for spring but I heard he wasn't here yet.

Baylor didn't release Xavier from his scholarship. He will be on academic scholarship for the '17 season.
Xavier Davis is still not on campus yet, that's all we know.

More depth at linebacker and special teams is always a good thing. Who knows maybe he might start for us at linebacker.

How much eligibility does this guy have left? I feel like he sat out last year or something. Seems to be an odd timeline for his transfer. I remember hearing about him a while ago, wanting to transfer here.

Thin team players are less likely to allow themselves to get hurt because, hey, who's gonna sub in? Nobody, that's who.

Both sides have made decent points, but I agree with this philosophy. Baylor is a toxic cesspool of rape and drugs with new stories constantly coming out. I don't want to take an oscar weber approach to players, but our program can do much better than Baylor transfers.
