So let me get this straight, after years of captivity and torture, this dude just gets to go live with Chunk? He needs to be put in a home of some sort. What are they doing up there in Oregon?

You must have missed the part where they did a full mental evaluation and determined that Sloth was capable of living in a normal home environment as long as there were adults willing to tend to his care. And then the ensuing court battle where Chunk's parents petitioned for custody for Sloth...

Hard to believe but after Sloth moved in Chunk got even fatter from all the chocolate cake and rocky road.
