Why would we ever fire him? We are fortunate to have one of the top 5 coaches in the game today.

He's here until he retires.

He's here until he retires.
:bang:
-
He's here until he retires.
Acceptance is the final step.
-
He's here until he retires.
Lots of "early" retirement in the corp world today. I'm sure gE would pay his insurance to 65.
-
Stability.
-
Back to the bubble we climb!
-
He's here until he retires.
Or until Currie leaves.

Then make the NCAA and lose in the 1st Round (again), and we will be right back where we started.
-
If he does that FSD I wouldn't even fire him (not irl, I still would. But you get what I'm saying)
-
Bo Schembeckler : Get him the eff out of the Big12 Conference.
-
Get your Midwest regional tickets in KC while you still can folks. oscar is going to the ball and the slipper fits.
-
Will we be ranked tomorrow?
-
Mostly likely he is a hot commodity now that someone is going to steal from us.
-
Will we be ranked tomorrow?
Surely they wouldn't release the rankings a day early because of us.

Oh man I done goofed. I totally thought it was Sunday, which is super dumb.
-
Hire Oscar!
-
We're gonna be like '88 Kansas! "Claws and the Miracles"
-
I doubt we're ranked.
-
Maybe we go on a big win streak and tourney run and some blue blood comes in and swoops Weber up?
My dream scenario

My dream scenario
In order for that to happen, we have to keep the hate flowing, so oscar doesn't feel welcome. Except he has to be smart enough to perceive that everyone hates him, so, we're screwed either way.

in order for that to happen, oscar would have to actually be a good coach who makes in-season adjustments instead of just a lucky bastard who sometimes gets miracle wins when other teams play shitty.

Guys we are almost 22-2
Is that the same as 2-0 against KU on the play hard chart :excited:
Weber makes great in game coaching decisions and his preparation is good :emawkid:
All we can ask for is 2 loses to KU by a total of 5 points :Woohoo:
He recruited Marcus Foster, who was good :ksu:
-
It was 4 points, PIPE.
-
It was 4 points, PIPE.
I added the play hard chart thing cause it counts :fatty:
-
It was 4 points, PIPE.
it was 5, math is hard though

We will be in the Big 12 championship next year and who knows we could be in the championship in the big 12 tourney this year if #LOCKHIMUP gets his team to play like a bunch of freaking studs.

Yeah, which is a problem unless K-State hires an AD really quick.

Let the season play out. I want oscar gone. But I don't want him gone just for that's sake. If we can't find a solid coach in a search this off season, you keep him. Hiring a new coach just to get rid of oscar solves nothing. If we can't get a solid coach, we must keep oscar. I don't wanna do this dance more than once.

Yeah, which is a problem unless K-State hires an AD really quick.
I was actually wondering about this earlier. Coaching searches rarely go beyond a week to ten days or so but athletic director searches generally are two, three, four, five times longer; why? That doesn't make any sense at all.

Head coaches have pretty good wikipedia pages. AD performance isn't quite as straightforward.

That's because we've been following one guy really closely for nine years.
