we eat at OTB almost weekly, it's my oldest kids favorite place.
I'd pick Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse most of the time for steak, the local offerings are pretty slim.
I had Longhorn (in SALINA!) last night. Funny story: I bought my mom a Ribeye. She tries to order medium-well or well done. I'm trying to train her though so she orders medium.
She's eating the steak and then says pretty loud: "This is pretty good. But I really like the steak I always get at Applebee's more." <<--- this just as the server is coming up to check on our table.
I was a little embarrassed, but didn't say anything. Later, I just thought about how awesome it would be to not give a crap what anyone thought/not be embarrassed about stupid crap like that. She's kinda clueless about a lot of social matters. I wish I had the ignorant bliss.

I don't think I really care for qdoba or Olive Garden but not sure. I was once employed by Olive Garden but never actually waited a table for them. have eaten at both once. Maybe give a second try. As a whole, I like all chains.

I've had a pretty solid routine in the summers, of getting a round of golf in and then stopping into the Roadhouse to grab a steak and few beers after. Don't think I ever drop more than $30-35, and it's a damn good meal.

Um, all of them? Like every Chinese restaurant is a little bit different from the next. Spice, msg and grease levels, cleanliness, size and variety of menu, cleanliness, etc. all can change. Like, can you seriously try to say with a straight face that Chinese Chef, Hunam Express, and Panda Express are indistinguishable? Come on.

KFC and Popeyes. I eat an unhealthy amount of both.
p'eye's is great but their KC locations are straight booty
East of Metcalf on Johnson Drive. The one on Troost is brand new after they tore the old one down and rebuilt.

Reliably good. I've not had a bad steak there. Just poor service from time to time.

I got a $25 Applebee's GC and a $25 Chili's GC in my stocking from my mother in law.
I'd love ordering advice at either of these fine establishments.
