The left believes people should elected because who they are not because of what they believe. Obama and Hillary are poster things for this ideology. Hillary lost because she is a woman. Or people voted against because she was an extension of Obama. White people are categorized as racist. They believe all groups monolithic and all vote the same. Well ignoramuses your practices failed. People voted issues, and voted with a selfish bastard attitude.

It appears the seachange from election outcomes being driven by policies to being driven by identity politics has occurred. Many younger voters voted for the person not because of the person''s policies they support. It is being reported that there a lot of first whatevers and a mass of women. Modern education has made young ignorant of issues and history. Thus they treat elections like they are choosing class officers at school. Looks and popularity are more important than substance; Beta is an example.

i think what we're taught in 7th grade civics about sharing a common creed and having a concern for the bests interests of the nation is anti identity politics.
