Title: Cable Cutters - K-State Basketball
Post by: Art Vandelay on October 24, 2016, 10:47:24 AM
Well I live in the KC area but have Playstation Vue and they haven't added the FSKC to their lineup yet. So anyone know any good streams to get FSKC? Looking for some help from those who have done it in the past. Our non con schedule is so shitty that 90% of our games are on FSKC.

Yea very disappointing that our non con schedule isn't on prime time espn anymore like previous years.

I'm curious to know if their login credentials give you access to FS Go. To the googles!

For Vue it does on FS GO, but not sure if all those K-State games will be available all the time. Hopefully so...?

It seemed like most of our games were on ESPNU last year.

download the Fox Sports Go app and use your PSVue credentials to log in.  The games should be on there.

Holy crap, there's a game on Friday.  Between that and the football game a few hours later being on this cable access channel, that's gonna be a lot of goochbox'n.

Conference games yes, and that's the same this year. I believe that we have six games on ESPNU and six on ESPN News. They are referring to our non con games which have been nearly exclusively been on FSKC for a long time. We don't have any conference games on FSKC this year. That tournament we're playing in at the Barclays Center is on something called the American Sports Network, so that's new.

Fskc is avail on the go app.  Just activated it w my PSVue acct.  Didn't even realize that PS qualified as a provider for such an app.

Well if you trust kstatesports.com it also looks like most of the games will also be on ESPN3...another perk of having a PSVue account.

Wizwig. Always Wizwig.
And if Wizwig goes down firstrowsports.

Use this for all your sports viewing needs.

Evidently ESPN's app works with PS as well.  So does the FX Now app.   :gocho:

With the Fox Go and ESPN apps, I should be able to catch almost any cat game I want.

I went with PSVue a couple months ago and haven't looked back.  The multi profiles and cloud dvr feature is pretty awesome.

Hate not being able to ff through a bunch of commercials on the DVR, though.  We don't use it that much, but still sucks.

Can you use PSVue to watch on a phone or ipad? Or just TVs hooked up to a PlayStation?

Haven't tried it yet, but it's an app.  Should be able to dl it to android, at least, since the Fire TV I use it on is an android device.  I would imagine if it works on android it would work on apple, unless apple is dicking you guys due to appleTV.

Thanks.

I posted about Sling TV awhile ago, but my boys have a PS3 and a PS4, so maybe going PSVue is a better option. I want to be able to watch on my phone or an ipad though.

There are some weird things that Playstation does in regards to apps meaning that you have to be on your "home network" to view all channels.  I think you can stream to 5 different devices at once but I believe of those 5 one has to be a PS3 and the other a PS4.

PS Vue works great on the iPad. I probably watch more live TV on my iPad than my regular TVs.

My espn3 and fsgo logins only work for stuff I can already get on tv.  I can watch these upcoming games via goochbox but will probably be way ahead for chat purposes.  I'll need some better logins to be on the same page as everyone.

This is important, as I just got a haircut earlier today, and aren't you wondering where Sergio buys his skinny khakis (not too skinny)?

After reciting to me the perils of getting a pet, he came around and is pro-dog and wants me to bring my hypothetical future dog to the shop to see if it will inspire him to get one*.

Watching a bit on sling, everything pretty good in terms of quality of stream.
