I read the highlights and score this one for hill with more brutal zingers which were also more funny

trumps zingers were either not funny or not brutal. no combos

I read that that was the closest he came to making a joke about himself, which was part of his problem.

he had a huge opportunity to go in and rock some self deprecating stuff and make people like him. he obviously crap the bed instead. I mean, he was upstaged by stupid hillary robotically reading jokes she didn't write.

I thought they both had some really good stuff. Enjoyed the crap out of each but for very different reasons. Loved how Hillary legit cackled at the Pardon Me joke and was easily the first person in the room to get it...and then stupid Trump went and over-explained the joke, taking all the funny away.

Watched it on MSNBC and they had Al Franken in the studio discussing it afterward. Enjoyed his comedic hottakes. Also, if you listen to the Keepin' It 1600 Podcast, I think that guy Jon Lovett wrote some (all?) of Hillary's jokes.
