With the schedule, WVU still has a decent shot of getting in the playoffs. Finish with wins over Baylor and OU at home while other teams lose and there is plenty of time to move back up.

I'd LOVE to believe the committee would put a one loss WVU team in the CFP, but it wont happen. Other one, even 2 loss teams from the SEC/B10 would have an infinitely better shot simply by not being in the BXII. I know i sound like a biased whiner, but its true.

The conferences really don't matter that much. It's because you are West Virginia. If a 1 loss Maryland team came out of the Big 10, they'd never get into the playoffs, either.
