Title: Any of my friends going to Morgantown next week?

Post by: ben ji on September 26, 2016, 04:33:23 PM: Hey slobber! Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this year but I did go in 2012 and 2014 so I can give you some pro tips.

1. Western Virginian's are a super nice group of people after they start shooting opiates around 10am, I would recommend not starting the tailgate until they get their "Fix"

2. You are going to run across all types of food being grilled that smells delicious. DO NOT EAT IT UNTIL YOU HAVE ASKED WHAT IT IS. I inadvertently tried "Yellow Tailed Possum" in 2012.

3. All the Virginians I spoke to were super happy that the BIG12 saved them from conference USA oblivion. You may have some hilljacks approach you to offer their thanks, just nod your head and let them kiss your hand.

4. If you plan on grilling out you should know that you ARE NOT ALLOWED to bring your own charcoal. Apparently WVU has an exclusive deal with ARCH Coal where they drive around in pickup trucks and sell you charcoal out the back.

5. Do Not hang out around the riverfront area. They have some sort of smog inversion thingy where all the pollution from the coal mines and well coal mines get trapped by the riverfront.
