I think Kavanaugh had a better arm but carson's mobility is much better. Carson would be more comparable to Matt Miller as far as playing style goes- but miller was fearless

brian kavanaugh didn't have a worthless qb stealing three meaningful series from him during his first road game of the year and doing absolutely nothing with them. also, kavanaugh had better players around him. also, kavanaugh didn't start as a junior. also, kavanaugh didn't play any game during his first year in a new system. otherwise great point... kavanaugh never lost to lala.

yeah, if our defense was average, then carson would probably be more effective. but since it sucks, he's going to have to play catch-up a lot and will look far worse than he probably is.

Yeah, I was meaning the team as a whole. Doesn't matter if our offense was 10 NFL All-Stars and Carson, we'll still lose 6-7 games because our defense is made up of retards.

The O-line struggled Kavanaugh's senior year. His running back was so-so — I think Hicks got injured in summer drills and Lawrence started. He had Lockett and a great defense.
Anyone comparing Coffman to him of Matt Miller is in denial or has forgotten just how bad Coffman sucks.

What my friend here is saying is that back then, Kavs learned by watching THE MAN Mayday. QB's ordered a shot and a beer before they dominated you in Darts in the Outback for hours on virtually every week night. They were the show.
Kavs has role modeled off of jack squat.
Maybe he can elevate his FP to proper level, but we have had no evidence to suggest this will occur.

I have it from an A++ Source that it's still pie. According to this source they haven't proved themselves enough on the field to get cake, let alone ice cream on the side with the pie. And it's served cold. Trying to keep them motivated is what I've been told.
