Good idea or no? Never heard of anything like this...

please tell me that is not real

That's awesome.

I think it's pretty neato. So the faithful ticket keeps getting you into games as long as they keep winning streak at home? Then it stops if they lose, then repurchase for another winning streak? If that's all correct, Currie thinks we're gonna lose quite a few games.
-
That's fun.
-
Like our dumbass 'seeds don't have enough of their life tied up in the performance of 18 year olds.
The rage when we lose to someone we shouldn't right before the TX or KU game will be lolololololololol
-
shoutout to the real wildcat fans
-

Yes. Our crowds will be amazing during games where we are losing to scrubs.
-
Look at Currie making moves to make bank. Pretty BITB strategy.
-
Looks like last year, this package would have totaled $300. All oscar has to do is win one more home game to make this pay off.
-
1 Faithful season ticket renewed 7 times = 1 bench season ticket. Who's going to renew after six home losses? So, isn't the bench season ticket truly more of a commitment that would be made by a more faithful fan?
-
Interesting
-
ya, Fairweather seems like the better name

Damn, I was looking at staff/faculty pricing. No way oscar doesn't save our faithful fans some cash this year.

I was referring to social media and bbs'n. The hate on losing their ticket because Cleveland State or whatever beat us because we shot 50% from FT line, etc will be strong.

Last year we lost to KU and then lost again to Texas. The crowd would have been a ghost town for the final home game against TCU. We might have had enough support to fire him and get Brad.
-
the five for fifty deal is the one we should be talking about. basically just ten dollar tickets to every game except ku. ou? ten dollars. isu? ten dollars. texas? ten dollars. that's crazy.

i'm guessing season ticket sales are going strong

KSU hoops is an independent minor-league baseball team.

denim-themed unis coming soon imo
-
I also just looked at our home non con and it is the most garbage of all garbage. so those games are essentially all free because nobody with season tickets will go. so for $80, you can go to every home basketball homegame except ku.
-
i'm glad the masses have finally stopped going to games
where's captain crap when you need him to tell us how ticket sales aren't down?
-
these are pretty good deals.
-
these are pretty good deals.
Not when you consider the commute and cost of dinner and gas from KC, Wichita, etc. I mean, if I lived next door, yeah.

And the opportunity cost of missing chat.
-
yeah the non-con schedule in general, but the home non-con specifically is garbage.
-
the home non-con is embarrassing and indefensible to everyone but john currie and oscar weber
-
What is you're fave home non-con tilt?
Western Illinois
Nebraska-Omaha
Hampton
Robert Morris (PA)
UW-Green Bay
Prairie View A&M
Gardner-Webb
Maybe our local Braggin rights exhibition games against Pitt St. and Washburn? I guess dunking on the Ichy-bods is going to be what I go with. All down hill from there.
-
I am pretty huge college sports fan and the only mascot I know of those teams is WIU. This noncon is worse than Wooldridge save my job ones in 04 & 05
-
Was Robert Morris the ones that beat uk in the nit? :ohno:
-
Can you imagine if we lose to one of these teams?
-
Those are not bad teams. In the past four years, only one of them hasn't been an NCAA tournament team.
-

Yeah, try telling that to a faithful fan who just lost $50.

You mean a Faithful Season Ticket holder.

Only if the AD can convince them to drop another $50.
-
these are low majors, not mid majors. I mean sure, some 16 and 15 seeds that won their conference tourneys, but let's be serious.
-
currie is doing everything he can to prop up oscar, will it be enough?
-
nah, i think most are already seeing through the smokescreen. hence these season ticket packages.
-
pissclams is about to get a phone call

If this team somehow shows huge improvements from last year, they will win enough conference games to make the NCAA tournament and oscar is off the hot seat. If they make the NIT, oscar probably survives anyways.
I want to say that this will all be down to the conference play, but you can easily see a scenario where K-State does something like this in the non-con:
7-0 at home (maybe 1 top 100 win if we are lucky)
1-3 in the non home games with the only win being WSU @ Sprint Center
That would leave us with a LOT of work to do in conference to make the NCAAs.
-
I honestly think that a bunch of kstate fans are incredibly stupid and would be happy with an overall winning record, even it it meant a great non con and horrible con record.
-
It's basically going to be a repeat of last year but the super pud non-non leads to more wins and an NIT berth. oscar will be praised for "improvement" getting us to the postseason and on the verge of an NCAA appearance :shooturmouth:

maybe Brad kicking our ass at OSU will be the breakthru we need to the Wildcat salute types
-
one of you kc dorks needs to buy one of these and just give me the tickets you don't use for free. k thx

does this factor in the KI (Korn Influence)?
-
The kstate basketball ticket model almost seems like an illegal gambling operation. I guess someone had to offer those bets as there's probably not any effort being put on by vegas books in setting up #oscar win total props.
-
i wonder how much they'd want for a season ticket that you have to repurchase after home wins?
-
maybe i need to read the fine print. the faithless ticket would only work if you don't forfeit your right to repurchase if you wait a few games.
-
or rather, it could still work, but the price would have to be lower.
-
If you buy 1 ticket they have your info for life
-
How are they going to ticket these faith based ones? If we win at home they email you another after each win?
-
Issue a new 'season ticket' card
-
They should be more creative. Like your $50 gets you into every game until #oscar fumbles a ball down the sideline or something.
-

maybe if someone would have came to fattyfest..........................
-
JC wants Oscar gone. JC is going to pay the players for losing games against shitty home competition using the proceeds from this faithful pyramid scheme.
Royals aren't gonna win 'em all

Better question...
Does it factor in the supposed and alleged basketball staff member and computer child porn loving guy that just up and quit out of nowhere.

i'd love to be able to place season-ticket based prop bets on former and current staff child-porn use.
-
If J ever submits his chapter of the Zac Burton book that he wants read by #oscar, I imagine it would result in #oscar segue'n to discussing how child porn issues have affected his own staff.

This should be for purchase on its own.

The reading always included whatever #oscar would naturally riff off into.

If there is a section that refers to the schedule, I would pick that one
-

There def was. It was Zac defending OBz' scheduling practices.
-
If there's no losses at home all season, does the $50 get refunded?
-
If gE is the house, what sort of odds would we have to put out to get some $50 bets on you people's 'cats going undefeated at home?
-
I'd take that bet if even only for the shitty non-con schedule. They will drop at least one of those turd games.
-

Well yeah. I'm asking how much gE would have to put up to entice someone to bet $50 on a perfect home record.
-

it's a problem that no true k-state fan should find the answer to. #teamdon'tgotogames
-
While I am in no way trying to defend Currie or Weber, and haven't sampled many upcoming non cons scheduled at other schools. But it seems like a lot of schools have shitty non con home schedules because these coaches all seem to want to play good teams on neutral floors.
-
I'm in no way advocating for oscar, but basically what's happening here is that oscar wants to play a bunch of bluebloods at home every year and they're just scared shitless of getting silverbacked.
-
At this point, even with the shocking home losses, a single Faithful season ticket holder would still only be in for $250 to date and just have another $50 due to see the finale against Tech. Still cheaper than buying the shittiest regular season ticket for $345.

i could have gotten the season opener and all conference games for $200.
