And now they say (with some slight hedging) that we'll finish 8th in the conference.

After this last year it's reasonable.  Infuriating that it 'is' reasonable, but yeah.   :bang:

We can talk about BSFS, LHCBS, BV/HCIW, "recruiting" etc, but for actual football wake me in August

Well, that ignores quite a bit of relevant topics, such as recruits who may decommit (Schofield perhaps, who is taking an official visit to TX this weekend,) injuries, medical redshirt determinations, other transfers, etc. And recruiting is final in February, FYI, and not until then.  See you in August...or September.  :)

Ehh, that fits under the "etc" category. I don't want to hear about rankings and all that junk. It's worthless until like week 5 anyways.

The Jayhawks showed progress under first-year coach David Beaty this past season, which is all anyone really could've hoped for.
Is that a serious statement by him?

To be fair, he didn't say what direction that progress was in.    :flush:

Theyre going to easily win the east, have you seen their schedule?

Tennessee has the misfortune of being the one east time that has to play Bama every year. Leaves very little room for error in the other 7 games.

LSU has 18 returning starters?  They would have been insane to fire Miles.
