Someone just say yes.
-
I think he's getting a medical redshirt, so probably not.
-
He's not even in uniform, Banks is though.
-
Yes! Next year's!
Gonna win 'em all!
-
Cali Love will probably transfer :frown:
-
No
And Cali isn't going anywhere.
-
There's going to be a few position changes, once they decide who they're going with, next year at QB. A+ source.

Good. We need Hubes at that third fullback position.
-
Rumblings of Banks at WR.
-
sounds like Cali Love is an absolute Grade A stud athlete
-
Sounds like banks and Delton are wr's and cook is going to be a gunslinger.
-
Rumblings of Banks at WR.
Or defensive back, but a move for Banks is likely.
Delton will stay at QB.
Ertz/Delton/Hubes and possibly the MO HS kid will battle for QB.
-
Yeah, word on the street is, Ertz might be done all together. His injury was really, really, really bad, when they got in there.
-
Poor kid
-
Yeah, maybe if this was his first one, it wouldn't be as bad, but that's not the case.

If Ertz is done, I hope they continue to give Banks snaps at QB even if he is also playing WR. Because....well, this year.
God love him, but if Hubener is our starting QB next year I will be very, very disappointed.

If Hubener is even in the running for starting QB our coaches should be fired.

There was a lot of disgust during the game for Hubes by donors, when Currie was in the suite. I'm not saying they make a difference, but I'd be shocked if he started next year. If Ertz is done, you've got Banks, Delton, and I could see them red shirting our new stud QB. That would probably leave Hubes at 3rd string. That would be my dream scenario anyways.

It was my understanding that Banks overlooked other offers in order to play QB. If that is his goal then he may decide to move on in lieu of moving to WR or DB. He would be wise to look at WR, but I am not going to be surprised if he pulls a Sams.
As for Hubener being starting QB next year, isn't it technically his to lose? Considering that a 3rd string QB improved enough to take over starting position this year, I can see Hubener developing during the offseason to keep his position.
If Hubener keeps his job next year or Thompson gets the nod as freshman, probably says more about our dire situation at QB, and yes we did learn this season you can never have too many.

I think the staff gave him a chance at QB but because of his athleticism, but still has hopes that he will accept and fit into a possible plan B, ie. Tuggle.

Don't know how you can be so sure of that.

From an acl tear? Its 2015. Torn ligaments are torn ligaments, also worth noting that he played another snap with the torn acl.

Just what I heard. I have no clue how these things work. Like, this might be more of a frustration thing from him and he wants to move on to life after football. That's what was said.
-

Did he bust the same knee as he did in HS, or was it the other knee?
Also, he may not want to go through that rehab again. He's probably got three years of college done already, and I'm sure he's been taking summer and winter classes for the last three years. I'm sure he's probably only one or two semesters from graduating.

Not sure on the first question, but it definitely sounded like this.

He probably sees the writing on the wall with Delton and Thompson coming in. It's probably all for naught, anyway.

It was the other knee
This explanation makes sense.

That's my dream scenario too. I'd try though to have Delton #1, Banks #2 but WR/DB as well, and Hubes #3 and maybe use him for other things (WR/TE). Hubes has merit, but just not a lot. By all accounts Banks needs to be seeing the field in some capacity, and hopefully the staff learned from Sams and won't screw it up. One can hope. We need playmakers, and the more the better.

Bazooka Joe is not playing any other position other than QB. Do you guys have eyes?

Banks himself probably would have said the same thing at the time.
