Title: A more plausable conspiracy theory than 9/11
Post by: john "teach me how to" dougie on April 29, 2010, 09:35:43 AM
During his campaign, Obama was solidly against offshore drilling. Then, in a feigned attempt to satisfy the right, he agreed to some offshore drilling, while inviting environmental groups to file lawsuits to keep it from actually happening. Suddenly, an oil platform explodes causing an ecological disaster that will put US offshore drilling back in the deep freeze for the foreseeable future. Coincidence? Discuss.

That "logic" just went through more torture than KSM and John McCain put together.

Makes more sense than an air to ground missle made of American Airline parts being fired into the side of the Pentagon.   :users:

So in our new "ends justify the means" culture, this is illogical?

Traditionally, when you make a wild accusation (and wish to be taken seriously) you at least pretend to provide some sort of evidence.  Even Pike gave us some links to destroy.

The cover story hasn't even been written yet. goEMAW.com may be the source for the first conspiracy theory! :runaway:

Would have made more sense to not allow off-shore drilling and denounce it heavily as a danger to the environment.

And then he would have looked like a prophet instead of a dunce in the public's perception.

Eco-terrorism is a valid theory.

Looks like Obama may agree with you as he sends SWAT teams to all of the rigs in the gulf for an inspection. Way to go environmental whack jobs.

Yes, that's a lot more plausible than a multi- trillion dollar defense system getting caught with it's "pants down" for 2 hours.
