Guys, let's finally talk about this! They're losing out on recruits, they haven't won anything meaningful, and none of their draft picks have been an NBA All-Star under Self. They're kind of running out of time and I'm not sure Self can keep recruiting 4*'s to keep these round of 32 teams up. If he bolts, will they even last? I'm serious here! Is a few appearances and a loss in the 2nd round enough to keep them happy? And even at that?! Is he even a great coach if that's all he can achieve? What if he coached at Kentucky? Maybe he'd have some some real titles, with that type of talent. Just some food for thought!

Hooterville Bill is just fine in my opinion. Kentucky has experienced players that made them look good. The Jflockers love Bill, and I don't see him going any where.

1-4 in the Champions Classic against real competition and we ALWAYS choke in March Madness. Maybe we should actually earn this blue blood label once in a while.

This group has learned to accept losing. No heart whatsoever. They expect it.
Self has everyone fooled. Every year he talks about winning league and what an accomplishment that is and we all bust a nut over the streak. We win league and get knocked out in the first weekend of the tourney. If it wasn't for one great/lucky shot by Mario then would self still be around? That being said, its only the second game of the season and this loss means nothing. But he was hell bent on losing this game. Even if he doesn't believe in svi, greene, or hunter he has to try them. Rolling with the starting 5 with lucas mixed in lost that game. Maybe hunter doesn't do any better inside but its hard to believe that he would do any worse.
A 13 point choke shouldn't happen to a veteran team. No adjustments, playing time giving to guys that aren't having good nights. I just don't understand what coach was thinking tonight.
Good thing next year's recruiting class is going to be incredibl...oh wait.
We'll be fine. Let's get #12 and a Sweet 16 flame out. And the World goes 'round.

Self got bitch slapped by Izzo tonight. That is a fact. Svi kept Valentine in check for 5 minutes and then never saw the floor again. Self lost it tonight -- all by himself. Yes, we will win another conference crown and then crap the bed in the second round.

I feel bad for the players that will ultimately get Self'ed in the media here shortly. Hope they all plan on returning for another 3-4yrs.

as K-Staters, I don't think we should focus this aspect, but how many young men we would have shaped into community leaders and how much less violence the team would inflict on the community than what has happened in Lawrence.

Yes, Missouri is horrible. Wade did not shoot the ball well last night. He did have 13 rebounds, so a double/double in his fourth college game (if you go back to the start of this thread, I'd say he's ahead of the game regardless of opponent).
Tonight KSU plays Roy and UNC. Further context will be added.
MU shot 30% from the field and 40% from the line. There were lots of rebounds to be had by a 6'10" guy, no? See: Landon Lucas
