Ok, enough with that metsparadise crap. I didn't know the Mets had a big Mormon fanbase, but that's their board.
Tonight we're mining www.metsrefugees.com (http://www.metsrefugees.com). No game thread. Boo. But a lot of other fun reads.
Let's start with most annoying thing about KC (http://www.metsrefugees.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114775):
they put every ball in play with runners on yet seemingly never get close to hitting into a DP. always hit the ball soft enough. eff everything.
I'd feel sorry for them, but the Mets finally gave me a reason to hate them yesterday after that Swede terrorist threw for Escobar's face on pitch 1. eff you, Mets.
Probably only the 10th most annoying thing about them
they rough ridin' hit every ball just weakly enough and not at the SS or 2B.
Our SS and 2b have the combined range of a fire hydrant.

The gems just don't work as well without an actual game thread. The metsparadise thread was really just sad-angry - not funny-angry.
Metsrefugees is clearly the GE of mets fandom, but no public game thread. The board is kind of diverting read though.
I gotta go check in with our Canadian brothers too. Bet there's some good stuff there.
