I read an article thinking it was a preview of the season, and Probst totally blew part of epi 1. Anyway, I think it'll be good episode/season.

Brief breakdown on how I feel about each contestant
Tasha: like her I guess, the most nondescript of the three people on this season who were somehow voted in considering they were undoubtedly the worst team in survivor history.
Old Kelly: meh, I thought she was pretty vanilla during season 1
Kimmi: not sure why I like her but I do, cries over treatment of chickens on survivor, goes on survivor again :confused:
Peih-gee: really like her, can't remember why
Young Kelley: got nothing, boss move with the idol though
Savage: cool dude, I think he will win
Terry: good player with the physical stuff, will piss people off because he's socially inept
Woo: amazing physically, dumber than a yellow lab puppy
Abi-Maria: may legitimately be a psychopath, so happy she's back and hope she stays around even though she's absolutely gone the next time her tribe loses
Jeremy: #myguy, kind of a dick but somehow really likeable
Kass: How in the eff did America pick her but left Mamma C off? Worst player, worst person on the worst team in survivor history. Everyone hates her and she'll likely (hopefully) be the first one voted off her very stacked team.
Ciera: :love: mediocre physically, amazing socially totes adorbs
Jeff: don't remember him from Australia, annoyed the crap out of me the first episode. I bet people hate being out there with him, seems annoying AF
Stephen: worm, crybaby, not interesting at all, annoying like gnats
Shirin: :barf: wtf America? Terrible human that probably tells people that the producers make her look that way. Her talking crap on everyone behind their backs then claiming she was abused when ol dude trashed her to her face was a low point in survivor history. I hate her face.
Spencer: I don't think he is very good. I mean he was on a tribe that lost like a million challenges, he feasted on weak players after the merge, won't have that luxury this season
Monica: she's pretty, other than that I got nothing
Keith: possibly a touch racist, still like him. Because he's crusty and old people discount his social game which isn't terrible. If he hooks up with Jeremy they'll wreck the game.
Vytas: eeeewwwww, kind of a creeper, both seasons. Surprised he was voted off first though, probably overplayed his hand
Joe: along with Woo, best overall physical players, better than woo socially but barely. The type of dude that is physical but not one of the guys so he will never be at the top of a male alliance. He knows he attracts the attention of the ladies and plays to that, but he will never be at the top of an alliance with women either.
Great first episode, I usually don't like new wrinkles with the game but putting the hidden idol where they did was great. This will be a great season, they will need to do something about the teams quickly though, as there seems to be a stacked tribe and a misfit tribe.

You actually filmed this season before the Second Chance season, which is the first time ever you have aired seasons out of order from when you filmed them. Is it weird to come back to this season now after such a long time living with Second Chance?
You would think it would be due to the time delay, but we were actually very happy with this season and have been excited to bring it to our fans. It is very different from Second Chance. And because BvBvB II was shot first, the players didn’t see the evolution of voting blocs or any of the twists that happened in Second Chance, so it really is a completely different season.

They usually do 2-3 interviews with Probst a season. Before, mid, end. I wonder if it's because they had to do more editing/etc? Just seems strange they'd change up the process.

Wait, you disagree that's the pecking order in that tribe? They won't stay together as a tribe long enough but if they did the contractor would go after the bodybuilder and the real estate agent. Did you actually watch the episode or no?

It also doesn't help them that the beauty and brains tribes have strong people as well. I agree.. but I think the brains have more deadweight than one person. Although not as much as the blonde brawn girl but I think they have enough athleticism and strength to counter that. I mean, they were waaaaayyy behind and almost came back to get 2nd.

yeah I watched, I don't understand your cliché comment about the black guy getting voted off first, maybe I don't watch enough reality tv tho. He admitted he lost the challenge for them, he didn't really fight much, I would have gotten rid of the blonde gal, but I guess I see why they took the opportunity to get rid of a strong player, and keep a weak girl that has no shot of winning. we'll see how it works out for them, history shows it probably won't go well to get rid of a stronger player this early, one of the girls will be next to go, not sure which one.

I agree. His story about his family gets him some votes but he told it already like an idiot. I think he's just keeping Jason cause he knows he has the idol, right? Same with Tai, he knows they both have one but they don't know about his? So maybe he thinks he can convince Jason to super idol it with Tai and keep his for himself?

One of the biggest boss moves in 'vivor history. Everybody likes that guy, even Pollard would probably vote for him. He has an idol and the extra vote advantage, he's gonna be tough to stop.
