Please describe your experience and who you had to call to come change the tire for you.

It melted

Lulz! Hey man, it's free to get it changed by my insurance. Also, it's a good thing I didn't try, because the "pro" couldn't get it off because the tire was so hot, it melted to the welding. I know, it sounds made up. I agree.

despite putting zero effort into preventive maintenance, proper tire health, inflation, etc, and driving about a billion miles i have only had 1 flat tire and it didnt pop or melt.

I pulled over to help a lady change a flat tire in the rain one time. It turned out to be my first cousin. We were about an hour from our homes and she was so surprised and happy!

I popped a tire around I-35N and SW Blvd exit once. Didn't really notice it until I got to the Broadway exit. Some biker flagged me down and pointed at it as we were heading towards the exit. I pulled off and put on the donut right in front of the Kemper Performing Arts Center.

Wacky, you need to pull over sooner when you blow a tire. That's why it was so hot.

Yeah, I know. There was no shoulder tho. I was on 69 south coming to the 435 split.

This tire places computers are frozen, so they can't print off my contract, and they won't work on it till it's signed. This day! :curse:

How long will fix-a-flat hold? I used it about 2 months ago.

The hole is probably fixed, but your tire life is likely much lower now

If you can see the top of Lincoln's head it's time to change your rubber.

From reading and participating on this outstanding blog for some time, and although I don't know him IRL, I always thought Wacky was kind of an expert on vehicle repair and getting cars back on the road quickly.

2 of my four tires are plugged and have held for almost a year and half now.
