Manhattan - BWW
Lawrence - Panera

Which college town is Carlos O'Kelly's? I think maybe Norman, actually. I went there as a kid and stayed at a Holiday Inn that had a sweet pool and free foosball/pool tables, so I always associated Norman with that as somehow "nice." Which makes it Carlos O'Kelly's, because when I was a super little kid I thought it was really really nice but when I grew up I realized it was nothin' but a pile of trash. :dunno:

Ames - Gambino's

That's a really good list, though Morgantown needs to be something more party-ish, imo. Like maybe Twin Peaks or some crap.

I wish A&M was still in the Big 12, simply because College Station is so Golden Corraly.

You all are being way too nice to Waco. The only nice thing there is Baylors campus. It's more like Checkers. It's always attracts shady people and the small group of rich people who stop there not knowing any better.

Waco - Aggie Lounge

How dare you disparage the Lou like that.
Waco is a Lucky Dog stand in the French Quarter.

How dare you disparage NO like that.

Waco is the unbranded "Chinese" restaurant at a bad mall.

:dunno:

I agree. And, Stillwater might be Texas Roadhouse.

google says there's one in shawnee, kansas.  google also tells me they go by old country buffet, country buffet and fire mountain buffet in addition to hometown and ryan's.  it's all the same chain.  it's 100% you guys.
Breads is determined to make this stick.

Dammit, Bread, I like Manhattan, but don't like Ryan's.  So, your comparison is kind of a drag.

Solid analysis. I think the Manhattan location is the worst of all.

Presently, sure.  There was an Emporia location a block from the meat-packing plant. In a town of immigrants. I have no idea why it closed down.

My take on the Big 12:

Manhattan - BWW
Lawrence - Panera
Stillwater- Chili's
Norman - Applebee's
Austin - The Chef
Waco - Taco Bell
Lubbock - Arby's
Ft. Worth - Papa Murphy's
Morgantown - Golden Corral
Ames - Gambino's

That's a really good list, though Morgantown needs to be something more party-ish, imo. Like maybe Twin Peaks or some crap.

Welp...I guess we can change that to Waco. :frown:

Well, thank goodness we're not having Baylor for Harley Day this year.
