I think K-State wins a few of those dud losses if Wes was himself earlier in the season.
I feel dumb saying this, as the Brucecoaster is still rolling along, but kudos to oscar for getting this team to play.
jevon can gtfo, tho

He's incredibly disruptive on defense he caused a few steals late that helped. Nigel is clearly our best option though.
Gipson had a very solid senior night as well. 9 rebounds, 8 points on 4-of-5 shooting and numerous tipouts and effort plays.

Fun wins. But relatively meaningless if Foster continues to rack up bench minutes, imo.Nigel seems to give the opposing defense more problems than Marcus, IMO
He has because he's not afraid to attack and create. Marcus is just fine with hugging the 3 point arc and launching 3's.Fun wins. But relatively meaningless if Foster continues to rack up bench minutes, imo.Nigel seems to give the opposing defense more problems than Marcus, IMO

Maybe you didn't watch our first game against them?
Could just be nobody has really been scouting him, though
The amount of security present today made me lol
Yes. They need to license something in the offseason and put those subs to useThe amount of security present today made me lol
The human wall was a treat. Did they take away sandstorm? :frown:
oscar is working in more mysterious ways than ever. last time he beat two top 15 teams at home must've been 2004-2005 (if ever, back-to-back). illini fans have told you all ad nauseam 1 or 2 times a year that he beats teams he isn't supposed to beat, but again, 2 top 15 teams back-to-back? this is almost as strange as recruiting foster out of nowhere after coaching/recruiting in the same state as chicago for 9 years.
still, happy for you guys.

The fear that this is the voodoo magic that will keep him here, bouncing on the bubble, for the next 10 years is still very real.
“The coaches told me to stay back and be the protector for the backcourt,” Westicles said, “but I saw everyone was in front so I just came up and made an adjustment and made a play and made a steal.”

Senior legacy
Thomas Gipson and Nino Williams played their final game at Bramlage Coliseum. Gipson had eight points and nine rebounds, while Williams had six points and four rebounds. K-State coach oscar Weber thanked both seniors for their hard work.
“Neither one has the physical gifts, but they have made the most of what they have,” Weber said. “That is the biggest thing.”

"Neither one has the physical gifts, but they have made the most of what they have and that is the biggest thing. If Thomas (Gipson) was 6'9" then he would be an NBA prospect and if Nino was 6'7" then he would be even better too and yet they have given it their all."
He just said they are undersized and played hard. :dunno:
"If Thomas Gipson could shoot the three and had better dribbling ability, he could have been Dirk Nowitzki but alas he just didn't get those physical gifts"
"Nino, well lets just say he should consider himself lucky he didn't end up dead in St Louis, because lord knows he just doesn't have the physical tools to get it done at the next level"
is there a youtube link to this game? would like to watch again.
