Title: Hubes 4 Heisman
Post by: pissclams on January 07, 2015, 12:15:46 PM: ever since Ubbs (former stud) jumped off the KATwagon, we get no media love. if we want hubes to take the award, we need to start the Hubes 4 Heisman H4H campaign now and get the snowball rolling down the hill before some dick from some crap school takes the spotlight.

i already emailed Currie (stud football AD) asking that every time the kstatesports twitter account tweets something, that they use the hashtag #H4H
also emailed espn with a pic of hubes

any other ideas? we just have to take the spotlight and bring home hubes troph

i'm serious - i think he has a shot at the downtown athletic club

This is a pretty fun highlight reel for a Kansas walk-on who I didn't know existed until 6 mos ago. He really does have a cannon and appears to have run K-State's exact offense in HS.

After speaking with Dana Dimel and Del Miller, K-State’s co-offensive coordinators, in San Antonio I expect Joe Hubener to start at quarterback next season. Coaches will give Jesse Ertz and incoming freshman Alex Delton a fair shot at the job, but Hubener has a big lead over both of them.

Though Bazooka Joe, as fans have begun calling him, played only in garbage time behind Jake Waters, he was a garbage-time hero, piling up 371 yards of total offense and scoring four touchdowns. There’s no telling how easy or difficult it will be for the former walk-on from Cheney to adjust and make plays with the game on the line, but his coaches have confidence in him. At 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, he is not afraid to run and Dimel said he throws the ball harder than any quarterback he can remember. Miller said K-State could have won with him this season.
