Maybe I should switch to something like that. I typically either use one of my wife's pony tail rubber band things, or a binder clip. I just care a handful of credit cards and a tiny (or no) cash. I keep the other stuff in a computer bag, typically.

Thanks, cDub... I sorta assumed most here knew it was one of three in the series of "Purple Power" whiskey decanters from 1971. They rarely come available, so a set of the football one, the basketball one, and the one with just Willie on it are relatively challenging to acquire.

OK, set it up and flew it a few times today. The first time I kept it low and near my driveway and showed off for the kids. Next, unfortunately, it got stuck incredibly high in my neighbor's oak tree. Spent 20 minutes tossing my football (a gift from my second grader) at it before eventually getting it down without crushing it. Obviously, I'm not good at flying it but my god it's fun!
After that we took it up to our local middle school and flew it around the football field. I took it very, very high there, really wowing my guys. Around this time, I noticed it continued to lean as it flew in one direction. I don't know if one of the four propellers isn't operating at full speed or what, need to check that out tomorrow. I have not tried the still or video camera function yet. DO NOT FLY IT INDOORS. I don't know what these cost, it was a gift from my Dad. It is definitely fun, but also feels a tad cheap Chinese-y.

you're one month in, so how is it? a big complaint a lot of people have about these pellet smokers is the lack of good smoke produced. some people add smoke using things like this -

Everything from the smoker has been delicious so far...not sure if it was worth the cost yet though. Need more data.

No issues at all so far. I have only done some chicken pieces and some lamb racks that only took like an hr so not a ton of smoke would get in anyways. I have not had time to do some real hunks of meat yet.

My Secret Santa at work doesn't understand that gifts are supposed to be handed out on every Friday for 3 weeks, so he/she continues to forget to get me a present and then they totally make up for it on Monday. :ROFL: I think our cap on presents is supposed to be $35 total and i'm pretty sure I just got like a $50-60 K-State sweater. :lol:

Yup. We do the big reveal this week. Holiday party is at Grand St. on Friday. My CEO had me last year. I do pretty good at these things.

I convinced my entire family to not do gifts this year and instead we are going on vacation at Lake Tahoe. It's probably one of my biggest accomplishments to date.
