Can confirm that Sunrise Academy churns out unconfident, awkward losers.

How do these star things translate into power orbs?

Fun Fact: It was way cheaper to fly into Tuscon than Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl vs. Oregon. So Mrs. CF3 and I flew into Tuscon and spent the night there and rang in 2013 in downtown Tuscon. Fun town. Very pretty.

It was actually Dennis Hopper that made the reference to the wildcats, but his comment was about Sandy

The name Arizona is the Spanish interpretation of "arizuma," an Aztec Indian word that means "silver-bearing." It's also based on the Pima Indian word arizonac, meaning "little spring place."
I think they need to get their story straight.

The Navjo rez does tho. So you cross the rez to Coconino County and you change time zones. Weird.

I read this as he's a state representative at first, which is usually true of AZ racists

You made me curious... So, I looked.
In that thread, there was one out of the 56 replies. Thus, just under 2% for the thread although site-wide it could be closer to 3-4% although I didn't check every user.

Former Arizona great Gilbert Arenas was nearly a KSU Wildcat.
Close, but ...
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona freshman guard Gilbert Arenas knew early on in the recruiting process that he wanted to be a Wildcat -- a Kansas State Wildcat.
Current K-State assistant Butch Hawking first learned of the 6-foot-3 Arenas, a native of North Hollywood, Calif., in 1997 while he was an assistant at Cal State Northridge. Hawking soon began recruiting the 15-year-old sophomore.
One year later, Hawking took his services and his Arenas recruiting edge to Manhattan.
"(K-State) was the school I was going to go to," Arenas told the Arizona Daily Star.
But that all changed in the summer of 1998, when Arenas caught the attention of several Division I programs with his play at various camps. The Arizona Wildcats soon entered the recruiting mix, and Arenas decided to call Tucson his college home.
"We thought we had a chance at him," Hawking told the Daily Star. "You win some, you lose some."
Hawking homecoming
Tuesday night's Preseason NIT game between K-State and Arizona, incidentally, was a homecoming of sorts for Hawking. The 28-year-old coach was stationed at Davis-Monathan Air Force Base in Tucson from 1994-96. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, he was the maintenance officer-in-charge of 28 A-10 attack planes for the 357th fighter squadron.
Hawking also was an assistant coach at Pima Community College in Tucson during the 1997-98 season and is married to a Tuscon native, the former Emily Zsitvay.
