Campus isn't safe... http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2014/11/03/tcu-student-reported-rape-at-campus-dorm/ and fan support seem to be virtually identical:
(https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusatthebiglead.files.wordpress.com%2F2013%2F10%2Ftcu-stadium-empty.jpg%3Fw%3D1000%26amp%3Bh%3D750&hash=1be30299ef63027c28657989fa95c85d1cb8741b)
It's exactly these types of things that make me fear for the stability of the conference.
-
I don't know what's more disgusting, that awful empty stadium, or the fact that they are tied with KU at halftime. :barf:

I don't know what's more disgusting, that awful empty stadium, or the fact that they are tied with KU at halftime. :barf:
I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but we went to that game last year since the 'Cats were the primetime game that day. The 3 of us made up about 1-2% of the total crowd.
-
Makes sense to me.
-
No.
We're good at football. KU is ku.
Our campus is safe as long as you aren't a sorostitute that is suceptible to being roofied.
Our fan support does leave something to be desired. But unfair screenshot is unfair. Everyone knows our stadium emptiez at half time so people can recharge their drunk buzz.

Frat boys are predators.

Frat boys are predators.
Yeah, at your school.
-
KU has a good basketball team, TCU has cancelled their basketball program.
-
the crowd was like that the whole game, "it was too hot" or at least that was the excuse from the 7 tcu fans that day
-
Frat boys are predators.
Yeah, at your school.
AT ALL SCHOOLS!
Remember I've been to ksu. I've met the rapey frat boys that live there.
-
I was in a fraternity and I haven't raped anyone, yet.
-
I was in a fraternity and I haven't raped anyone,.
-
Sad, really . . .
-
I'm starting to understand why Texas gave these guys the boot so many years ago.
-
I was in a fraternity and I haven't raped anyone, yet.
You're just a late bloomer.
-
yeah bruhs, lets go recharge our drunk buzzs and roofie some sorostitutes! -TCU students apparently
-

Can confirm.
-
I'm starting to understand why Texas gave these guys the boot so many years ago.
They were concerned about our eventual domination of pud football teams like you and them.
-
yeah bruhs, lets go recharge our drunk buzzs and roofie some sorostitutes! -TCU students apparently
That's only the frat bros bruh.

I've explained this before. It stands for cocaine. We have a bunch of rich kids that go to school there. Rich people do cocaine. Thus TCU stands for Texas Cocaine University.
-
I can also confirm 90% of tcu students went there because they didn't get into UT. The other 10% were legacy students.
-
No.

You appear to have problems recognizing credible sources.
What did you get your degree in?
-
I used to go to a church with a preacher that graduated from TCU. He made $15,000 per year.
-
I just ran across this study (sent to me from my professor friend at TCU):

Makes the trip to Foat Wuth a questionable proposition. Ewwww!

Sunday is for football. Not church.

I can also confirm 90% of tcu students went there because they didn't get into UT. The other 10% were legacy students.
:nono: Denied.
At least 20% of their students are ones who applied to, and were rejected by SMU.

This has to be true, why would you live in Fort Worth, with the petroleum fumes and cow crap wafting in from west texas all day, when you could live in Dallas?
-

not studentsreview.com
pro-tip: I'm an athiest. I never cite the bible.

Bcuz dallas wishes it could be LA and it sucks at it.

Academic smack from a school with a 99% acceptance rate ? Kansas State redefines what a "one percenter" means. Scary thought.
-

KState 2025, tho
-
Would love to see how many $60m donations TCU got this year (also, ever).
-
Academic smack from a school with a 99% acceptance rate ? Kansas State redefines what a "one percenter" means. Scary thought.
True story: The ONLY people that bring up the 99% acceptance rate are the mouth breathers that didn't get in and make up the 1%.
-
Would love to see how many $60m donations TCU got this year (also, ever).
90% of the $100+ million that it took to redo Amon Carter Stadium came from 4 donors.
-

LMAO Kstate has a 99% acceptance rate?
That's Boise State-y.
-

90% of the $100+ million that it took to redo Amon Carter Stadium came from 4 donors.
So TCU is roughly 1/3rd as wealthy as K-State. Got it.

Stadium upgrades that aren't in the hundreds of millions is very mid major.

That's rich coming from somebody who attended a commuter school not unlike UNM or UNLV.
-

TCU is not a commuter school. Not surprised that someone who qualifies for kstate's stringent acceptance guidelines doesn't understand that.
-

Damn that cocaine
-
i dont understand why tcu fans get so butthurt about most of their students wanting to go to UT first, i mean it is a far better university.
-
Lots of people go to commuter schools like TCU, it's not such a bad thing
-
The only girl i ever met from TCU gave me an old fashioned on the dance floor in Fort Worth. Exactly what I expected from a commuter school student like her. Also, no roofies involved.
-
I guess the only difference that I can see is that I have never met anyone who actually claims TCU as their university. Even t-shirt KU'ers will claim the university as "theirs". Also, have never seen anyone walking around rocking TCU gear.
-
the crowd was like that the whole game, "it was too hot" or at least that was the excuse from the 7 tcu fans that day
Can confirm.
TCU fans must have a real issue with the weather because the low for this Saturday is like 45 and I've heard some people giving the warning to bundle up for the game

You'd think there'd be more down here though. All the stores for poors like Ross, Marshall's, etc. always have loads of it.

TCU is on par with most Lake of the Ozarks hot tubs. 'grats, Frogs.
-
So what I'm getting from this thread is that the title is all wrong. It sounds to me that TCU is more like Wichita State with a football team.

Well, if you didn't live on a farm in the middle of no where then you might run into people wearing TCU gear.
-
TCU fans must have a real issue with the weather because the low for this Saturday is like 45 and I've heard some people giving the warning to bundle up for the game
That's DFW in general. It gets below 55 and people start wearing heavy jackets, sweaters, and other winter clothing.

Truth.
Even in the DFW metroplex, one RARELY sees anybody in TCU gear. Plenty of Longhorn gear, way too much aggy crap, and the occasional SMU hat or hoodie, but literally no frogwear.
-
TCU only has like 8,000 students. Only half of them will graduate. It makes sense why seeing one of them out in public is so rare.

I see quite a few people in Frog gear on a regular basis.

I'm not a coke dealer so your statement is irrelevant. Though it is slightly clever. so golf clap for that.

Hello Purple Lizard Pal from the South!
I hope things are still going well for the TCU Horned Frog who no doubt lives thanks to the kind folks at the Horned Lizard Conservation Society [http://www.hornedlizards.org/]. I would strongly urge you to buy a Tee Shirt from them:

That is a pretty sweet shirt. I may have to buy one or five of them.
-
i mean just take The Cobra for example. Graduated from TCU, wears crimson, goes to OU games & does not even wear purple when OU visits TCU. Not even their famous alumn in the media sports world will even claim them, except to comment on being "surrounded by hot bitches."
case closed johnson
