Behold the 2002 offensive playbook
https://jimlightsfootballblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/2002-kansas-state-offense.pdf
-
my head just exploded trying to take some of that in
-
Yeah, I am definitely questioning my intangibles now.
-
-
Holy crap page 25 on crowd noise
-
Holy crap page 25 on crowd noise
I don't think that's part of the 2014 playbook
-
Starting to question if my speed is even deceptive.
-
Wow! Mind blown!
-
It's almost bigger than the internet
-
not that difficult
-
#6 of two minute offense
-
This is really going to help me impress the HFBIQ types I generally watch games with. "Should we try something like a Trips Right 76 Squirrel In Draw Fake here to try and catch them off guard" or "we're on the goal line so I think we'll probably go with a Flanker Right 56 Pop Out Pass or something similar".
-
Someone is going to lose their life for this.

Probably kill Pett first then go from there.
-
No wonder Bryce went fishing

Great find....
Here's the coaches' all-22 offensive film from the 2012 TCU game: http://jimlightfootball.com/2014/09/17/2012-tcu-vs-kansas-state-all-22-coaches-film/
-
Pretty cool. And exhaustive.
-
At first I was pretty worried about this, but then I started to think about how coaches move around (quite a bit). Surely old playbooks are already out there. Having said that...DAMN, that's would make for an intimidating binder.
-
Big shock "slow down offense" comes up before "2 minute offense"
-
it does put into perspective when other teams comment on the absurd number of formations we throw at them
wasn't it holgerson who's playbook is only like 8 pages or something
-
Page 51. Plays with the words "scoop" and "luke"
:D

I bet there's not a special section for slow down offense anymore.
certainly as detailed as one would expect from Snyder.
-
page 319, Scheme Called.

-
pg 170, first Scheme Called
( i think)

My goodness, my head hurts now. After seeing this and seeing the formations we have used this year so far, it appears the playbook hasn't been opened up very much.
-
lol. Score Right. Score Left. Aka, Zombie formation.
-
How do playbooks even work?
-
That crowd noise section.
-
Prob a dumb questo, but how do we know that's actually KSU's playbook?

Oh, yeah, so... the handwritten part? Got it. 2 legit.
-
That crowd noise section.
Under 2-min. section. There was a note that said if the ball carrier can't make it out of bounds to just chuck the ball out of bounds. LOL, if that ever happened the player would never see the field again.

Why? That would be the smart play.

No wonder Bryce went fishing
And to think, Bishop probably did like 1/5 of that.

Yes I saw that, but anyone can write that....
-
Searched for other playbooks on that website:
Phillip Fulmer’s 2000 Tennessee Offensive Playbook - 234 pages
Chris Petersen’s 2001 Boise State Offensive Playbook - 151 pages
Tom Osborne’s 1997 Nebraska Offensive Playbook - 182 pages
Jim Tressel’s 2002 Ohio State Offensive Playbook - 146 pages
Steve Spurrier’s 2000 Florida Gators Offensive Playbook - 82 pages
Mike Gundy’s 2005 Oklahoma State Offensive Playbook - 42 pages
Mike Leach’s 1999 Oklahoma Offensive Playbook - 43 pages
Urban Meyer’s 2006 Florida Offensive Playbook - 266 pages
LHC Bill Snyder’s 2002 Kansas State Offensive Playbook - 379 pages
-
the binder itself that the players carry around that includes this is a solid 3 inches thick (like my afro)
-
Pop Quiz: What's the last play in the book?
-
Pop Quiz: What's the last play in the book?
double eagle swap mf, no scheme

Pop Quiz: What's the last play in the book?

Yes I saw that, but anyone can write that....
But if it was just anybody, then it wouldn't be official like this one....

Highly recommend this play-book for friends and family, as a gift or just because. Lags a bit in the mid-200's, but sets up for a bombshell of a conclusion. You won't find a better collection of schemes this holiday season.

How do playbooks even work?
You write down 17,000 plays and then run 15 or 20 of the best ones all season.

I'm printing it off after work today when everyone leaves. Then I'm going to take it to Staples and have them bind it really nice. My dad is going to get a heck of a X-Mas gift this year.

I am only getting started, but no veers so far. :dunno:

Well you're in for quite the pleasant surprise if it's veers you're after. :Wha:
