I am heading out to San Diego for the weekend. Lots of seals/sea lions all over at the beach but I don't know which one is which. How do I tell? Do the lions have big ol mane?
If it has ears, it's a sea lion. If it doesn't, it's a seal.

SD you should be able to do some great seal watching at Acadia this summer, although you'll just miss seal pup season.
