Our biggest question of Waters coming out of juco was that he relied on his #1 receiver. He relied on Tyler last year because he's the number 1 option and "he's always open". We need guys like Deante Burton and Judah Jones to step up.
It's amazing that we've gone this far without people realizing the ball is going to Tyler in the red zone.

Do you even Sexton?

Do you even Sexton?
Don't be an idiot.

The transition between Smith and Coleman has been rougher than expect. Seems like it is hard for newer guys to be "technically sound" enough for Coleman to trust/play them. He needs to build up his own depth. Smith kinda put him in a hole. Imagine if Tyler wasn't a Lockett, this is so bad.
2010: Curry Sexton
2011: Tyler Lockett, Jade Cathey
2012: Deante Burton, Judah Jones, Vernon Vaughn, Marquez Clark (Never Made it)
2013: LeAndrew Gordon (WTF :curse:)
2014: Andre Davis(JC), Dominique Heath, Tyler Ahrens, TL Ford
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2015: Isaiah Zuber
Lol at people thinking it was team strength and not a total train wreck for the past 4 years.
*Still think there is a solid chance of Ford transferring in.

We have 2 really good receivers, but yeah.

Burton is getting better.

Sexton is a great compliment to Lockett and he had a great game last night.
-
Ok
-
All ways thought speed was important for our offense for the WR position and we just don't have enough of it.
-
I'd like to see some of Davis and Jones but shid....
-
Lot of weird Sexton hate after arguably his best game

That all the retards calling for Jackson to play over Burns can get mumped.
-
I would have liked to seen more designed plays for Trujillo.
-
Sexton is amazing. A great asset to the offense. I wish he was our third option though. Can you imagine?

this too. I think we could have really spread the field out much more effectively if we worked the TE and FB releases. Keep the safety help off Lockett a bit too.

Also, what about the bomb to Gronk?

I like the idea of trying to get Gronk the ball, but that certainly was not how to do it. We began multiple drives near midfield with a perfect opportunity for a pop pass for a TD :bang:

I think one of the qb runs in the first quarter was supposed to be that but the dl got too much pressure for Jake.

Where the eff is Andre Davis?? I hyped him up big time in my inner circle :curse:

that is on you, I don't think we have ever had a CA Juco WR contribute much in his first season

It was. it looked liked like Auburn recognized it and held up Gronk as well.
Also, I thought trying to go vertical to Gronk was a great idea. It didn't work out, but a LB on him is a decent match up and we showed that he's a threat. It didn't pay off last night, but if we continue to split him out it might in the future.

Sexton is the Ed Mcaffery. We need a Shannon sharpe.

It wasn't meant to be an exact comparo. Possibly a terrible comparo. Just think that Sexton is a great 3rd option. Great hands. Not a pussy. That's what made me think of Ed.
