Title: Trust me, Aubie. YOU DON'T WANT TO WIN
Post by: puniraptor on September 17, 2014, 04:46:44 PM
Because in the end, EMAW always wins. Just look at our recent past of marquee noncon losses:

Arkansas wins; Petrino crashes a motorcycle exposing his affairs and improper workplace relationships, is fired.

Oregon wins; Their awesome coach who they all love ditches their asses for the NFL to hang out with KSU legend Darren Sproles.

NDSU wins; Their coach who definitely hates all of them and is probably too good for them anyway bails to an even more sparsely populated state.

Nebraksa wins; Kicked out of big 12 to become laughing stock of world's current shittiest conference.

Trust me. War Eagle Nation will not enjoy the consequences of beating KSTATE tomorrow. You should be cheering for the cats as loud as me.

USC loses (2002) and goes on to win a MNC in 2004... you might have a point here.

Do I really have to?  USC is the exception to the rule that beating Kstate angers the gods.  But even they got theirs.

Ask OU and okstate.

USC fell to crap, their coach left them to burn in scandal and their heisman and MNC were vacated. Emaw wins.

Also this has nothing to do with the rule, because emaw won in the beginning , too. twice.

Feel free to work on your own rule though.

That was a Ron Prince team, so it doesn't count.

Goes 5-7 in 2008, flushes their coaching staff, and ends up with a dingleberry from Iowa State.

Only two football programs have ever beaten LHCBS and gone on to win a national championship.

The embarrassing atrophy and cuckolding of the Nubb program was mentioned documented.
And Oklahoma people have to live in Oklahoma.

So you are saying LHCBS prefers to avoid playing good football teams? Interesting.
