Post by: bshea85 on August 30, 2014, 07:52:19 PM
I think this thread needs to be official after that NDSU stomping...  :whistle1:

If not, mods, please delete and I will accept ridicule from you other chumps.

ISU should know better than anyone "you reap what you sow"....

When you give 25-28 Paul Rhoads a TEN YEAR EXTENSION....well, I guess at some point you realize you planted crap and fertilized it with manure.

Quote
Iowa State dismissed P.J. Harris for a violation of unspecified team rules, reported the Ames Tribune.

The reasoning for the dismissal didn't become clear until Friday, when Harris was arrested on aggravated domestic assault/strangulation charges. "Harris was charged at 10:48 p.m. on Thursday, according to Ames arrest records," reported the paper. "The incident between Harris and the victim occurred on Thursday morning, according to Ames Cmdr. Jason Tuttle. The two got into an argument when the victim went to Harris’ apartment at 4503 Twain Circle, Apt. 306. Harris allegedly pushed the victim onto a wall, threw the victim down on a bed and strangled the victim with his hands, Tuttle said." The former three-star recruit would have entered 2015 as one of the top receivers on ISU's depth chart.

Is it possible for Lawrentucky's disgusting criminal culture stank remained on Mangino for four years, then spread through Ames in a single football season?

Just has to hang out around .500 and complain about getting screwed by officials once or twice a year

That strategy worked for Paul Rhodes for 7 years, excellent suggestion.

Hate to lose a good coach to another conference.  Would rather play flood aggie close and crush their souls with a last minute victory than look like we're beating a rented mule.

Yea, obviously he thinks he’s too good for ISU. Need to get rid of that sort of cancerous attitude

Imagine firing your head coach in year 2 , going to the boosters for the buyout and then offering up the Iowa state head coach as a replacement.

That's how that baked potato head ass fool, and most ISU fans think too. Plenty of them will tell you they prefer Prohm to Hoi.

Especially one who seems have an 8 win ceiling. Although he'd probably wreck crap in the awful acc. It literally takes nothing to be the second best team in that conference.

But who was 8 win ceiling, Campbell or ISU? Which was chicken and which was egg?

Moral of the story: Coach at a program with innumerable inherent disadvantages only if all involved are willing to cheat at recruiting as much as possible.

ISU is limited by their inability to attract a good coach. It's possible that Campbell is good, but he's probably not.
