I wish my parents had a basement. Right now I'm sleeping on a cot in the corner of my parents bedroom. Well, at least on the nights my old man hasn't hung a tie on the door knob. Sleep in the Civic on those nights.

it's always chilly as crap in the basement, freaking love it.

I basically have my own entrace. It's like two seperate houses and not a house with a basement. the window well ladder is really better than the normal entrance. even when nobody is home I use it sometimes.

I have a mini-fridge and a microwave all to myself. Throw in that mom has stocked the root cellar full after canning veggies, I barely have to go up stairs.

Guys, my dad keeps the hard liquor locked up in a cabinet in the kitchen downstairs. Last winter when he and mom went to his company Christmas party, I found his key and had a copy made at Ace Hardware. Now I get to make my own cocktails while I watch the Cats play. He's none the wiser yet.
