Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said in an ESPN radio interview on The Herd With Colin Cowherd that Mixon would have a chance to start.
"Oh, absolutely, he'll have a chance to," Stoops said. "We've got other talented guys, but Joe, he's been everything we hoped he would be on campus already."

In all honestly if she can prove that this is type of behavior is more widespread among student athletes than it is among the general population then I would be all for this.

I just read that article and the comments for the first time and I cannot believe how many people are of the opinion that if a woman slaps someone then it's fine that she gets punched in the face by a D1 college athlete. I mean, WHAT? That's not self defense. That's retaliating by punching a woman in the face. There are tons of things you could do in self defense, like holding her arms down, holding her down until other people got control of her, leaving the scene. Not punching a woman in the face as hard as you can. I seriously can't believe that tons of people apparently are fine with this because she "acted like a man." Good grief people are stupid.
