Marcus Heit is the only K-State player to accept an invite to the Senior Bowl so far. He was our long snapper.

This is the first time I've ever heard/seen/noticed that name.

Me too.  I guess maybe that's a good thing since he apparently wasn't screwing up all the time.  Kind of an unsung position when nobody notices that you do a good job.

Remember when Prince schollied some high school kid for his long snapping only?  I think he did good tho, and maybe went pro.

We've only had about five of them in the last 15 years, so I could probably figure it out  :D

His family sat in the NEZ.  His mom brought his championship ring to the games...she said they could have of had separate Big 12 championship and Fiesta Bowl rings but the team elected to pool all the money for those into getting nicer Big 12 championship rings, FWIW.

they missed his name at senior day too.  Mom was not happy!  We were a few rows behind her.  Awesome lady, but not happy about her son getting missed on that one.  He was an odd ditr find for us as a long snapper!
