i didn't realize we could do this. i'm guessing it isn't new. am i a dumbass for not knowing?

yeah i thought this was the only thing it did, i actually vaguely remember a post on here where someone said they wished we could @ people, now we have it!

doesn't notify me like being quoted does but does add notification entry in app I guess. can't see anywhere to change it tho

Yeah, because who doesn't love having to zoom in all the time and hope that they tapped the right link, not the one next to it? With the latest version of tapatalk the only disadvantage I can think of is having to remember what all the emoticons look like.

Nope...only notifications are from quoted replies.

yup, it's been this way for the last 9 months (or however long they'd had the tagging feature) across multiple iPhones. thank god i'm a bbs'n addict so it doesn't really mean much to me anyways
