Title: What level of bowl game would it take?
Post by: KITNfury on March 29, 2010, 11:14:22 AM
After all this feel good Elite 8 hooplah, I don't think I'd be all that excited about some BS lower level bowl game. OTOH, making even a mid level bowl is unlikely. I'm not even sure making any bowl is likely.

What would it take for you to actually get excited?

NYC....though that's more excited about NYCPak than football.

I always kinda liked the location and timing of the insight.com bowl.   :dunno:

I'll give you that, but it feels like you aren't playing for anything (which we wouldn't be).

Maybe I'd be ok with the season as long as it felt as though we always are in the North race. I just want to play games that have meaning. Got kinda addicted to that feeling from bb this season.

This is the wrong question.  The bowl game to me irrelevant.  What would get me excited is a B12N title and a trip to the Pepper Game.

Thinking about going sys and confining my future sports posting to the bball board.  Football's just not exciting me right now.

2nd place in the North and a mid level bowl would get me excited. Anything less is pretty meh.

a bowl game would be pretty cool i guess. personally just hoping for nice weather for the home games. i'm to the point where i pretty much refuse to go to bad weather fball games.

Alamo or above.

But would rather win North.  Not even close.

Bowl game would be cool, but if it meant Bill retired and we hired someone good/not 97 years old/not on current staff, I would endure another 5 win season.   :ksu:

Winning the Dr. Pepper and getting to a BCS bowl would equal out an Elite 8 appearance IMO

winning the north is amazing, cause you're one game away from an elite bowl. kinda like the elite 8 of the bball tourney imo.
